This is for people who enjoy conversing in French and want to explore the richness and pleasure of the language while talking of things of interest. Thanks to the fluency of the initial group members we were able to hit the ground running in February; anyone who feels this is what they are looking for is welcome: the ambience is easy and informal, while keeping on topic, and we plan to stay that way!

Topics are wide ranging, triggered by current affairs or group members' interests, supported by handout materials that can include songs, poems, articles, newspaper extracts, online video clips, etc. We explore nuances of language and revisit subtleties of grammar and enjoy felicities of expression. We may dip our toes into the world of books later on.
