DUE TO START 16TH JUNE 2026!

This new DIY for Beginners group will complement the original DIY group but with more emphasis on  the use of both electrical and standard hand tools in a safe and appropriate manner for beginners. We will be looking to start with more basic skills such as:-

Use of different types of fixings for various methods of wall construction and use of appropriate drill bits.

Measuring and sawing timber accurately, use of multitools and chisels.

Moving forward it is hoped that attendees can suggest topics that we can look at  in future group sessions so that we can have an interesting ongoing agenda. 

It is recommended that you have your own pair of cut protection gloves and safety goggles before using any of the cutting machinery.
