NATTY NEEDLES - A CASUAL GROUP FOR NEEDLE-CRAFTERS
Natty Needles is growing in numbers! We have taken the decision to have no more than 15 members, with the view that a small number around the table is far more interactive than a large group. There is so much we can learn from each other this way. However, this may be reconsidered in the event of a large or long-standing waiting list.
It would be wonderful to have a 2nd group at a different time or location, if anyone is willing to take it on, with help of course. It must be the easiest group to lead!
GENERAL INFORMATION
We have a variety of projects arrive with their creators; socks knitted on 4 needles; knitted cannula sleeves for babies, a ribbed scarf, a chunky sweater which was in a lovely chenille yarn. Another lady is reviving her crochet skills by making a Christmas tree decoration, and others brought embroidery work, so beautiful and lovely to see something different. Another brought a small sewing repair. What a great idea to bring something to repair and get those niggly little jobs done in a pleasant environment.
We meet at Knightâs Garden Centre, Warlingham/Chelsham on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Do let me know if you want to join us.
The only requirements are that:-
Your chosen craft is portable and self-contained and you buy a drink (and maybe cake if you wish) as the Garden Centre don't charge us for the use of their premises.
Please contact Sue Seymour using the link above to register your interest or for further information.
